In March, District 6 received donations from Saint Demetrio's Church for our McKinney-Vento students. Our McKinney-Vento students are our children and youth who are experiencing homelessness.
These wonderful donations included nonperishable foods, toiletries, and clothes. Almost every family was able to come to the District Office to pick up their donations. About 7 bags were delivered to families thanks to Top Line transportation.
District 6 will be receiving more donations this month from Saint Demetrio's Church. We thank you for your continued support!
